A large foyer was given a total style makeover. The walls were finished in a creamy yellow colour wash. The dated looking banister was restained a rich mahogany and the spindles were painted a fresh white.
The carpet on the "floor" of the stairwell nook was removed and replaced with a flat peice of wood which was then painted in a subtle white marble.
